I have a small gun collection that was given to me from my father, that was given to him by his father, that was given to him by his father, and so on. Any way, this is my favorite gun in the collection. The Haenel Aydt Schuetzen Rifle. Below are some of the specs on it.

Interesting Facts

Designed by Carl Wilhelm Aydt and patented during 1884 in Germany. The Aydt action became a favorite rifle for building a offhand target rifle for Schuetzen competition. This rifle is stocked in walnut, with a checkered wrist for a secure grip. The stock is trimmed with traditional iron furniture. The action has a integral base for a tang sight.

In the current condition, it is worth only about 2,000 where as well preserved ones with the rear sight can cost allot more.

I have a Chinese Checkers game from the early 1900s, made originally in china, lol, i just got done playing with it

Not sure if it works lol. Also, Checkers is cool its a game that never gets old!

Oh yah, forgot to mention that in addition to the rifle I also got a bag full of about 10 unmarked, more or less un-identified poliece pistols, looks to be just after WWII though lol, makes you wonder a bit.

That is awesome. I love old stuff. I have several cast iron pans stamped with their year of creation. Range is from 1864 to 1942.
